About Kelsey
Ever since I was young, I’ve had a passion for art. I started drawing when I was 5 years old. By the time I was 14 I was doing pet portrait commissions at local farmers markets. I decided to get my first tattoo when I turned 18, and that’s when I fell in love with the idea of tattooing my art on people. I decided to make a portfolio and take it to a local tattoo shop in Kingston Ont. Once I started my apprenticeship in 2013 I knew that tattooing was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life because I absolutely LOVED it. After learning a variety of styles I started to focus on taking what I’ve learned from my years of doing fine art and blend it into what I’ve learned in tattooing.
I am inspired by all things nature and love using this type of subject matter as the focus of my work. I love creating tattoos that feature florals/botanicals/plants, animals/creatures, vintage objects, etc. I have a true adoration for detail, as well as muted, pastel, and vintage-inspired colours.
I love working from my home studio; I am based just outside of Kingston, Ontario.
